     Swiss Miss Royalty 2005

     The Midway Boosters are pleased to introduce this year's Swiss Miss Royalty. 

     This year's pageant was held April 2nd, where five new representatives of Midway were chosen.

      These young ladies will act as hostesses for Midway's annual Swiss Days on the Midway Town Square.

      The royalty will also perform at public events such as Wasatch County Fair Days, Swiss Days and Swiss Christmas

 Montana Law, Swiss Miss 2005: Daughter of Varlin and Carla Law.

   Montana has lived in Midway for over 10 years and  is pleased to represent our city as this year's Swiss Miss. She is the oldest of six children.   Montana is an honor student and loves school. She has many hobbies which include horses, art, reading, singing, dancing, being in plays and performing.   Montana is looking forward to fulfilling her community service projects this year as well as being an ambassador for the City of Midway.

 

Julia Snow, First Attendant: Daughter of Kevin and Tara Snow.

 

     Julia is the oldest of four girls in here family. She enjoys school and is an honor student at Rocky Mountain Middle School.   Julia participates with Rocky Mountain Express Cloggers, competing on a National level.  She plays the piano and she plays the flute in the middle school band.   Julia is very excited to represent Midway and is looking forward to making new friends and participating in community service opportunities.

    

Tristin Lowe, Attendant: Daughter of Richard and Julia Lowe

 

     Tristin has grown up in a family of eight children. She is a sixth grade honor student at Rocky Mountain Middle School.  She enjoys performing, gymnastics, soccer, snowboarding and cheerleading.   Tristin has become quite the entrepreneur selling golf balls and homemade lemonade.  She is a friend to everyone and loves serving in the Swiss Miss Royalty.

     She has the added honor of being chosen by her peers as Miss Congeniality.    

Abby Snow, Attendant: Daughter of Kevin and Tara Snow

     Abby is 10 years-old and is an honor student at Midway Elementary School.  She plays the piano and competes with Rocky Mountain Express Cloggers on a National level.   Abby was on the Junior All-American Clogging team last year and is very generous and giving young lady who enjoys helping others.   Abby is proud to be a citizen of Midway and is looking forward to the experiences she will have this coming year.

Lindsay Mason, Attendant: Daughter of Scot and Terry Mason

 

     Lindsay is the youngest in here family and the only daughter.  She is in the seventh grade at Rocky Mountain Middle School.  Lindsay loves to sing and dance and has been involved in Annie, Wicked and other performances with Show Business Dance Company. She loves all sports, especially skiing and horseback riding.  Lindsay is grateful to have been chosen as an attendant this year.

 

     While all of these young ladies have varied interests and talents, they share a love of community service.

 

      They have been actively serving the community by making homemade cards for members of the community,

making blankets for the Children's Justice Center and participating in the Midway City cleanup.

 

       They enjoyed getting dusty and dirty in the dark recesses of the Old Town Hall.

 

        Look for them in the near future as they visit with the elderly at the a local nursing home and plant flowers at Town Square and perform other acts of service.

 

        The Swiss Miss Royalty and their families are looking forward to a year full of memorable experiences and would like to thank the community for their support.
